Fraudulent cloning of SACJ
Dear SACJ community
Please note that the only website of South African Computer Journal (SACJ) is: https://sacj.org.za/. The publisher of SACJ is SAICSIT (https://www.saicsit.org/). Any payments towards SACJ (including APC for accepted articles) will be invoiced from SAICSIT and paid directly to SAICSIT.
It has come to our attention that the SACJ site has been fraudulently cloned (http://southafricancomputerjournal.com/) and that papers are listed on the fraudulent cloned site that were not published by SACJ. All publications of SACJ are allocated a DOI and registered through Crossref using the prefix doi.org/10.18489, which is the unique number for SACJ. Papers fraudulently published under the name of SACJ will not include our DOI prefix and will not resolve as valid URLs with doi.org.
With the help of our parent body, SAICSIT, and our hosts, Khulisa Journals, we are taking the necessary action to deal with this problem.
Keep vigilant,
The SACJ Editorial Team
